EducationUSA brings U.S. universities to Dubai
October 29, 2008 – At the Linden Education Fair, representatives from more than 26 U.S. universities joined educational advisors from EducationUSA to speak with students, parents, and guidance counselors about the benefits of attending U.S. universities.
Consul General Paul Sutphin opened the fair, and spoke with students about his experiences as a student at Georgetown University, in Washington, DC. An Educational Advisor from the U.S. Consulate General in Dubai spoke with the more than 250 attendees on the advantages of studying in the United States. A Consular Officer from the Consulate General was also available to speak with students and parents about student visas.
The fair also offered educational counseling for students interested in studying in the United States and distributed educational materials.
